China has a huge population base, and vehicle ownership and increment rank first in the world. Relieving traffic congestion and improving traffic efficiency are one of the pain points for commercial fleet operation. Since obtaining China’s first commercial vehicle autonomous driving road test license in 2018, FOTON’s autonomous driving technology has developed the SuperFleet management system around fleet management technology, integrating autonomous driving technology with IOV, and taking the lead in completing the platooning public verification test in China. Currently, FOTON’s mass-produced intelligent driving models are at L2+ level, and it is developing L3/L4 level autonomous driving prototypes.
